Windows 8 Installed Twice on Netbook

My friend's sister installed Windows 8 twice, and it installed successfully both times. When I start the Netbook it gives me an option to choose between one of the two installs. I'd like to delete one of the installations but I'm not sure how to do so. Has anyone run into something like this?

Installed to one partition or each install has it's own partition?
