Change Windows to Go USB Port while in use

Before anything, I don't know where to post this. Is it a hardware, installation or setup question?
Anyway, here it goes, brought exactly from Technet, where I didn't get any answers so far:

Hi.

tl;dr - How do I change the USB port that Windows to Go listens the drive while in use?
long version:

I have this computer, with an Asus P8H61-LE Motherboard. As you expect, it doesn't pack USB 3.0 ports. But it does come with some nifty PCI-E x1 slots, so I've bought a random USB 3.0 PCI-E card, with 40 pin for front panel.

Works amazingly. Fast and beautiful, exactly what I've expected. BUT, it doesn't have its own BIOS or something, so my UEFI BIOS cannot boot from devices connected to it. In fact, it doesn't even detect anything there until I boot up to the O.S.!

And I have this Windows to Go Setup. Works like a charm on USB 2.0, but sometimes I feel the bottleneck, and wouldn't hurt using my only USB 3.0 device on those USB 3.0 ports, eh? I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting it on USB 3.0, but WTG just ignores it as if it weren't there. Even when I connect to a different USB 2.0 port, it doesn't detect.

This USB port remapping would serve for other uses too. Once, I've connected my drive to a client's computer, for repairs. But it took longer than I expected, and I had it connected on the front USB. I needed to connect other thumb and external hard drives and had to use the rear USB ports for this, because WTG didn't detect anywhere else =(

Is there a way to do it; thru a hack, workaround or something?
Or just no way at all?

Thank you!

Mods, if I've posted it on the wrong subforum, don't feel shy to move it to the right place (if it ain't the bin)

If your BIOS doesn't recognize it I'm afraid no "hack" to windows can help there as it happens way before windows come into the picture. Couldn't you find an adapter that is bootablle like those ones for HDD ?

Thought it was a common feature, USB boot. I've just looked for an adapter with 40-pin out for front ports.

I'm pretty sure I cannot do anything with regards to BIOS detection, but couldn't I change the USB port during usage? For some reason, they restricted the connection to the port that has been used for boot.
I'm thinking about something that changes the actual port that Win2Go is looking for its files. Example, if I'm connected to, say, USB port 2, and my 3.0 port is USB port 7, I'd just change something to "Port 7". Windows would "lock up" (like if I had disconnected it abruptly), and when I connect it to the port I've set up, it would resume

Check your UEFI/BIOS firmware manual, for PCI-e boot option.

That's the problem. Most of modern motherboards do support it, but my PCI-Ex card seems like it doesn't have a BIOS ROM, so I guess it cannot be found for booting.
That's just weird. I'll even try removing it to check if it really doesn't have a BIOS

Once you boot from that WTG device Windows is just going to keep looking for it where it was originally connected. It's not hot swappable in this instance. You're lucky the system didn't just crash when you unplugged it. I would think it would be the same as unplugging your hard drive while windows is running.
