    Error code 0x80070017

    Hi,
I am trying to install windows 7 off a DVD. My machine is a 160GB and 80GB sata equipped. There are few issues which I am dealing with.
    1. 80 GB HDD on which I had installed Win 7 earlier (before it crashed), is not visible while installing win 7. Although in 1 out of 5 attempts I am able to view all my HDD drives in the menu (during win 7 installation) where we have to select the destination directory.
    2. The second and the main issue is no matter what drive I choose as the destination for win 7 installation I end up getting the error 'Windows cannot install the required files. Error code 0x80070017'. (I have attached the snapshot for your reference).

Please help me out here. This problem is troubling me for a week now, and I have not been able to install a fresh copy of win 7.

Physically disconnect the 80gb HDD & install to the 160gb HDD.

Thanks Theog your advice has worked. I disconnected the 80GB HDD and installed a fresh copy of win7 on 160GB.
I believe there is something wrong with my 80GB HDD. Do you know any free ware which I can run now to check my HDD?
