    Cannot login after reinstall.

    Hello,

I'm encourager some problems with login after reinstalling on Windows 8. It simply shows me a Other User login screen, where it doesn't accept any Windows Live ID password (Incorrect Username/Password). Password Credential Provider also doesn't work (Account was disabled). Anyone have idea how to fix this?

You may have to log into Live and change your password using the limit of 6 -16 characters. Someone I know had a similar issue.

Is this off a fresh installation? You may not have the drivers installed for your network access to work... What you may end up having to do is login to a local user account first, and connect to windows update to download some drivers, then try and login with your Live ID and see how that goes.
Oh and you need to create a local user account before you can sign in with Live anyway (as you have to associate a Live logon with a local user account, as far as I am aware).

i've decided to go ahead and reinstall w8pro given my extensive messing around with it has finally caused some quirky, unexpected results - it's a relatively new installation, so it shouldn't be too much of a hassle, didn't get a chance to install a lot of third party programs and such. the thing...
