    help my computer is in an installation reboot loop


    I keep getting the attached error and then I press ok and it reboots and I get the same error again and again. what should I do?

    This error means that your installation was interrupted, and that you need to start over from scratch again instead of trying to continue with this installation.

    Please tell us about what you are using to install Windows 8 with, what your PC's system specs are, did this Windows 8 come preinstalled on the PC or is this an upgrade or clean install, etc......?

    acer aspire 5532 not sure on specs and it came with windows 7 I upgraded it to windows 8 and it was with a DVD. I was getting an error with it so I decided just to do a clean installation so that everything was deleted.

    Go ahead and try starting over with a new clean installation to see if it is able to successfully finish.

    right after I replied it loaded to the installation screen. so it is installing now. will reply back if it doesn't work.

    now I have a new problem. looks like there are two installations now. how to I delete the old one which seems to still have all of my files on it.
