Solved installing windows 8

i want to upgrade my win7 to win8 and i have an iso file and i will use bootable usb....i want my files remain.do all windows installer will ask if i will delete my files or remain it.please help me here. im poor in english

OPTION THREE in the tutorial below can show you more on how to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8 using an ISO file. When you get to step 8, be sure to select (dot) the Keep Windows settings, personal files, and apps option to keep your files from Windows 7.

brink is it okay if i dont back up my files cuz i dont have anything here to backup my files...

I'd always recommend to back them up just to be safe, but as long as your files are in your user folders and you select the Keep Windows settings, personal files, and apps option, you should be ok.

There's no need to.

You could upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 8 directly with the Windows 8 ISO file using OPTION THREE in the tutorial above.

im poor in english..im sorry..i have an iso file and i can open it using power iso .can i just click on the set up and will it automatically run?

You would need to extract the ISO to another location than where you are installing Windows to, then run the setup.exe file.
