Running Win8 from external eSata

Has anybody tried to install and run Win8 on an external eSata disk. Unfortunately my System with eSata is in FL and I am currently in Germany. So I cannot try it before November.

Thanks Chuts. When I am back in your neck of the woods I will try that. I also have an eSata enclosure that I attach to my Sony laptop.

I did run Win7 RC on a eSATA external drive, no problems.

Win8 should be the same.

Thanks Dave. Reason I want to do that setup is because I like to use Win8 for classes in my computer club in Florida. But the Sony Laptop I use for that has a 90GB SSD with Win7 and all my classes and there is really not enough room to install Win8 comfortably.

And before I commit to any Win8 classes (demos), I wanted to make sure it would work. Here in Germany I have no system with eSata.
