    Dual-boot Windows 8?

I coach computers to seniors, many of whom are currently running Windows 7 and concerned about upgrading to Windows 8. Since Windows 8 can readily be modified to appear and perform more Windows 7, both with or without third-party apps such as Start8 - I would like to be able to quickly show "Before and After" versions of it. My question is, can I install my Windows 8 Pro on two partitions as a dual-boot arrangement, much like dual-booting two dissimilar OSs? Just wondering since they are both identical OS's whether this can be done. I have a new HDD and would use it exclusively for such purpose. Yes I realize I could probably illustrate changes on a single OS without dual-booting, but I'd prefer the dual-boot arrangement if possible. TIA for any help.

    Welcome to EightForums.

Yes you can dual boot, but you wil need two licenses, one for each install.

theog answered the question. But, I wondering if you have considered the possibility of dual booting 7 and 8--showing those you help how things they are used to doing in 7 can be done in 8 using very similar approaches (emphasizing use of the desktop in 7 presumably)?

That's probably the best solution and surely the more practical. Wasn't sure which might be the best approach. Many thanks, znod.
