    How to delete dual boot?

I bought a new laptop that came with windows 8, i tried to install windows 7 with it but the set up didnt work. When i boot up, i have dual boot with

    1: Windows set up
    2: Windows 8

if i click windows set up, it says some hardware doesnt work and blah blah.

Now my question is, how do i delete windows set up from boot menu?

heres my disk management thing. i dunno which partition to delete

Using Windows Search type in "Msconfig." Once the window opens to to the "Boot" tab then click on "Windows Set Up" then click Delete. Then reboot. Ensure that you choose the right one otherwise you won't be able to boot at all (thus having to start all over again). . . Good Luck

You have NO Windows 7 partition to delete, in your screenshot.

That is true, albeit what is happening is when he attempted to install win 7 it didn't take but still put a dual boot note in msconfig. Hence, all he has to do is delete the mention of it in msconfig, and his problem will be gone. . .

Where did you want to install Windows 7 anyhow. I see no partition in your screenshot that could be used for such an installation - unless you wanted to wipe the Windows 8 partition. That would give you some trouble with EFI.
