Use Windows 8 bootloader with Windows 7 as default OS

I would like to use the windows 8 bootloader, BUT have Windows 7 as the default Operating system (OS) so if no selection is made in the Windows 8 bootloader, Windows 7 will load. How do I go about doing that? It seems every time I set the the default OS to Windows 7, it also sets to use the Windows 7 bootloader, when I want the Windows 8 one?

The problem is I'm still using the windows 7 like bootloader, and the keyboard is still not working on when the bootloader shows. I have gone through the whole of my bios and I still can't move around on the bootloader. Does anybody have any suggestions?

I have run the automatic repair 2 times, and on the third I get "There was a problem", and the error code was error code - 80070490 (something related to updates). What do I do next?
