Problems after installing Windows 7 alongside Windows 8

I'm doing this on behalf my friend who I'm helping do the dual boot and we have come across errors and messages etcetera such as "the partitions on the disk selected for installation are not in the recommended order GPT" (we clicked OK to proceed) but we finally got windows 7 installed using UEFI mode. However, the problem we're having now is that some kind of Windows 7 lookalike boot loader appears, but it appears in a fancy graphical way such as the white bars at the top and bottom move across the screen slowly and the text comes in at a line at a time. When it does appear it says pick an operating system, but when we try and move using the keyboard is doesn't do anything, so we can't get back into Windows 8 at all. The other major problems we're getting is, with Windows 7 being the default OS on the boot loader list, this is the OS that gets booted up because we have no keyboard to change otherwise, but that has problems booting up itself. Where it says Microsoft Corporation at the bottom of the screen, this doesn't show up till 15 seconds in, and then the coloured Window logo appears also very slowly. The whole Windows 7 boot is extremely slow, and when Windows 7 does load, there are loads of drivers needed to get the Ethernet and wireless cards to work etc.

What do I do to speed up the Windows 7 boot, and how do I fix the boot manager so that I can get back into Windows 8.

P.S Windows 8 - Lenovo Pre-installed the OS, and Windows 7 was installed AFTER Windows 8

How do I get into the Automatic repair, If I can't even get into Windows 8, am I going to need the Windows 8 disk? because If I do I haven't got one due the OS being pre-installed. Where do I find a Windows 8 disk from just for u repair use?

This is a tutorial by Lenovo using the Windows 8 USB Drive Recovery app.

& made the Startup Repair CD.

Neither of these methods are going to work as I no access to Windows at all, and I have not made any recovery drives. Wouldn't it make more sense if someone gave me a link to a downloadable Windows .iso which I could burn and then access the command window, and other recovery options within there? I do however have full access to the windows 7 OS, so is there any commands I could do from there to fix the boot loader in Windows 8?

There are NO legal links to download Windows 8 ISO.

Perhaps you have a friend, running Win8 of the same "bitness" as your laptop, that would make a system repair disc for you or loan you one. See "System Repair Disc" in my sig.

there must something I could use to get into recovery options, I need to fix this today as my friend will not have a PC to work.

Is there a way of changing the boot options for both windows 7 and 8 from bcdedit command in Windows 7? Will Windows 7 bcdedit see Windows 8?

Ok I managed to get EasyBCD installed on windows 7 and I changed the default OS back to Windows 8 and got Windows 8 to boot after doing its automatic recovery fix. The problem is I'm still using the windows 7 like bootloader, and the keyboard is still not working on when the bootloader shows. I have gone through the whole of my bios and I still can't move around on the bootloader. Does anybody have any suggestions?
