    Windows 8

I like my laptop alot, and yea SSD is separate from HDD, so i can install on it, even if i can't. it doesn't matter.

All i want is a clean custom install :| But the problem is that i don't have a DVD & i can't order one.

So the option i've been left with is getting iso & putting my cdkey in it :| But i don't know which iso to find?

    Windows 8 64Bit?

You would need to buy system builder. It is another license.

I think you want to use your existing license and do a clean install to remove the crapware.

I have heard a litlle about the core single language . It seems like a separate edition.

I don't know if you tried using a regular msdn iso - maybe that would just install as core single language, it is worth a try.

Yes, we understand what you want to do.

See the third item on this page: Newegg. Yes, use can use this software on your machine under the personal use license even if you are not actually building a computer. See this thread: Win8 OEM System Builder License.

I don't think he wants to buy another license. Why should he ?

Windows 8 core and core single language are not the same thing.

He could buy another license - but he has already got one that came with the machine.

He could try a regular iso from msdn, etc - it might work - but I think he may get a message the install image does not match the oem key.

As far as I can make out, he may need core single language install media.

Apparently there is a Russian one floating about which installs - then one can add preferred language pack.

I think he has Pro. But, anyway, I am not equating Windows 8 core and core single language. You may be right that he needs the latter. I expressed uncertainty on this issue.

I understand your feelings on the license thing (and on using an MSDN ISO). But, we disagree. Still, I gave him instructions, for doing what he wants even if he gets an ISO free (of cost and anything else undesirable) somewhere. Also, I indicated what I would do--use system builder under the personal-use license.

Either way, it is not very convenient for the user.

That's my problem with it. OEM preinstalls are a real PIA. And, you get the feeling that even if you do not, then you should have the right to expect better when it comes to bloatware, reinstalling, etc.

And, if you take matters into you own hands either with system builder or a free ISO, then I think your days of OEM support, return, etc., likely are over. The only way out might be if you could reinstall the whole OEM setup after having used system builder or "free" via recovery discs, images, or whatever.

Maybe a tutorial on how to get your whole OEM installation (all partitions) back, on OEM preinstalled, if you have "taken things into your own hands," would be a good idea. For example, I am not sure if you could image all the partitions and restore them back to factory fresh "having taken things into your own hands;" what would be the best software to use; and exactly how to go about the exercise.

If you could get back to where you started with ease, then IMO system builder software would be a bargain to be out from under the thumbs of MS and your OEM--as far as possible.
