Can't install Windows 8 on Toshiba c850d oem windows 8

    Hi
This is my first post on here but have been doing a lot of reading and can't sort my problem out.
1st mistake was not making backup disks.
I was working on laptop when it froze up and I held down the power button to switch it off. (Mistake)
Ever since then it just boots upto the Toshibe logo with the circle thing going around.
I have tried various windows 8 iso's but will not boot further than the toshisba logo. Have tried switching off secure boot. No good. Switch of fast boot. No good. Switch off Uefi, just boots to windows 8 logo with circle thing going around. Have tried from USB flash same problem. Please could someone help me out?
    Many Thanks Andrew
PS:- I did manage to recover all the information on the hard drive as i took drive out and installed into another laptop and used Easeus 9.2.1 but still will not boot in Toshiba laptop.

    information   Information

We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD.
Recovery Drive - Create with USB Flash Drive in Windows 8
System Repair Disc - Create in Windows 8

You can order Toshiba Recovery disks from here:

    https://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/...rification.jsp

If you call Toshiba UK support, there will burn you a set of Recovery Disc's.

Have tried switching off secure boot. No good. Switch of fast boot. No good. Switch off Uefi,
You will need to reset the UEFI/BIOS firmware back, for the Disc's to work.

Thanks for the reply. Will all toshiba c850d - 11q be the same meaning if I could get someone with the same model number would i be able to use those recovery disks as it's key is stored in bios?
Is there no other way for me to get the laptop up and running as I'm out of the country for another 3 months?
    Thanks Andrew

Did you make the Startup Repair CD?

I've tried the 0 repair doesn't work. No I didn't make repair cd or backup disks.
What I meant was I have access to all the software and recovery partitions if I connect the hard drive via usb to my other laptop. Is there a program that I could use to make a repair cd or backup disks from what I can see on hard drive?
    Thanks Andrew

is installed with Windows 8 x64 in UEFI mode, yes.

No it's not it's windows 7 32 bit. Oh well looks like I will have to put laptop away for a while until I can get recovery disks. Thanks for the help anyway.
I see people have downloaded iso's and done clean install but I can't get past Toshiba logo and spinning circle.
    Thanks Andrew

I assume the ISO's are of the proper "bitness." And, you say you have tried ISO's. Do you mean that you have, for example, created install DVD's or flash drives and tried to startup/install from same? Be sure your ISO has UEFI support if trying to install under UEFI. See OPTION 2 in Windows 8 Upgrade ISO - Download or Create. If you can't boot to a proper install disk or flash drive, then I am off base. Sorry for wasting your time if so.
