Windows installation in loop "going through a few basics"
I have a very weird problem installing a Windows 8 Evaluation copy. I downloaded the copy straight from the MS website and it installs without any hiccups though it simply won't let me access the desktop.
After I log into my Microsoft account, it restarts, and begins the entire "Let's go through a few basics" routine every time. No matter what I do, it repeats this. I tried reinstalling the OS, but it just did the same thing again.
If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know.
Below are the specs of my PC. I am trying to install this on a server so the specs will seem a bit odd but this machine had Windows 2008 server R2 and Windows 7 Pro installed at various points -both of which worked fine.
Specs:
16-core 2.5Ghz Opteron 8380 (4 cpus)
Tyan S4985 Motherboard
20GB ram
Nvidia Quadro FX3500
1TB sata HDD
