Install W8 32-bit Over Eval Copy

Is there any way to install W8 over an eval copy? I don't want to lose my programs.

The second section of this tutorial, Upgrade Install from Windows 7 or Vista to Windows 8, implies you will not be able to keep your programs--assuming what you are calling an "eval copy" is mentioned. If not, then what are you referring to as an "eval copy?"

Nah, it's ok to lose my programs. Just noticed that I saved all for quick install. So, yes, an evaluation copy from last year. I just purchased W8Pro and want to install it.

Good for you. Clean install recommended, of course. Not using UEFI, right? If not, use Clean Install - Windows 8.
