    Installing using UEFI USB

I have made a clean install of Win8 using USB and UEFI.
Somehow it seems the instalaltion is not quit right of what I have read...

Have attached picture of the Diskmanagement (OS is Norwegian by the way).

Compared to this thread: UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 8 with for me something is missing/wrong.

I have a laptop with one SSD and two internal disks. Both internal disk were removed before the installation, and connected and formatted after finished the installation.

So, whats wrong, how to fix it and why is it wrong? If I have comcluded right...?

It can me mentioned that I downloaded the OS, saved it as .iso file, then copied onto the USB disk. Then connected into the laptop and booted from USB/UEFI.
I did not follow these steps: UEFI Bootable USB Flash Drive - Create in Windows

Could the answer be so simple?

    Hi

The MSR partition will no show in Disk Management.

Disk Management, Disk 0 is Windows 8.

But OP's disk order looks odd for a Notebook.

Does your ISO have UEFI support? Check out OPTION 2 here: Windows 8 Upgrade ISO - Download or Create. You will need an appropriate ESD folder if you want to create one that definitely has UEFI support. So, check out OPTION 1 also.

I did follow every steps mentioned.

Before installation starts, the screen show 4 partitions. When finished installing, the diskmanagement shows 3 partitions. There's also no ESD folder if it should be one after installation.

The ESD folder is only in the downloaded upgrade installer.

The MSR partition will no show in Disk Management. (srceenshots post three)

Your screenshot in post one, the disk order looks odd for a Notebook.
The screenshot in post five is fine.

The OS disk should be Disk 0, as your screenshot post five.
