Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media

My PC is a custom build with a 1TB HDD.

Today, I removed a hard drive from my PC, containing Windows 7 which wasn't being used at all. The HDD in my PC currently has Windows 8 installed. It booted from Windows 8, so I'm guessing it was the primary boot device.

I installed the hard drive into my other PC and it doesn't work on there because of different hardware apparently, probably because of the change from AMD to Intel. But that's beside the point..

I don't know what to do, help! :s

EDIT 2: SOLVED THANKS TO Ztruker!
EDIT: Turns out, without the old hard drive installed, it doesn't work. I can use my PC now that I put it back.. it has Ubuntu and Windows 7 only, why does my Windows 8 need this old HDD to work?!

The old hard drive probably contains the boot files and is set as the Active drive. Post a screen shot of a full screen Disk Management window please.

Boot up with the old drive in.
Open Disk Management and set the Windows 8 drive as Active.
Shutdown and remove the old drive.
Boot your Win 8 install DVD or flash drive.
Run Automatic Startup Repair up to 3 times.

    That should fix it.

Okay, I marked my partition as active and when I rebooted, I got the bad boot message. I simply got my Windows 8 disc and, with both hard drives in, used automatic repair. After that, I was free to take the old HDD with Windows 7 off with no hassle.
