Start Orb + Windows Explorer not working?

I'm running the new Windows 8 beta (7989) and all was going completely fine. Until I turn on my computer today to see the start orb does not work when I click it. Not only that, but I cannot open any folder or anything like that.

Any ideas?

How about starting in safe mode? If that works you may be able to uninstall what ever has messed up your explorer like a blue pill or the red one. Or maybe try to use search. If that will work then type in sfc scan now and try that for some corruption correction. Good luck to you with your install of Windows 8
