    Windows 8 Consumer Preview

I don't rly know what the options should have been, but if I can't upgrade it, I'd expect a clear message, like:

"Windows 8 Consumer Preview cannot be upgraded to Windows 8 Pro. You can choose to install a new copy of Windows 8 Pro instead, but this is different from an upgrade, and does not keep your files, settings, and programs. You’ll need to reinstall any programs using the original installation discs or files. To save your files before installing Windows, back them up to an external location such as a CD, DVD, or external hard drive. To install a new copy of Windows 8 Pro, click the Back button in the upper left-hand corner, and select “Custom (advanced)”." :P

    - it also doesn't make any sense to me that you could not upgrade from one version of win8 to another... right?

The setup from sources worked, but it gave me the message that's on top. I'm a student so I can get Microsoft products through the Microsoft academic program MSDN.

Now the question is.. can I extend my Consumer Preview period?? Kinda sucks since I've just started my exam session and I'd like to keep stuff simple right now, but it's annoying to restart every 2h .
