So I did a factory reset on my pc, came back into the room to see that my monitor (tv) said no signal and my small LG monitor was black so I just assumed it was part of the process. After about 6 to 7 hours of waiting it still remained the same, even after restarting and trying many other methods...
just a little tip to get you to 8.1 a bit quicker after a factory restore back to W8.
You do not need the Net framework updates/browser choice or malicious software removal tools KBxxxxx's,

Is it possible to create restore discs that return the PC back to factory state (just out of box, never turned on)? Thanks!
Do you need to re-enter your serial key when you do a factory reset from within the settings? Same thing when you refresh your PC, My license ran out. And when factory reset, will it get rid of my Radeon Drivers? (I want them gone, I'm going NVidia soon).
I created a Recovery DVDs (4 discs) from the Recovery Partition (using the Recovery Media in HP Pavilion G series) but the first disc is not bootable. I checked the content of the disc, the setup.exe (that will make it bootable) is missing.
What do you think went wrong?
