Moved to SSD, Windows8 thinks it's Windows To Go!

    1) Bought a new laptop with 500GB 5400RPM Drive + embedded 24GB fast boot.
    2) Installed some apps from the store, used it for a day or two.
    3) Cloned the original drive to an SSD
    4) Went back to the store, got the message "Store not available on Windows To Go"

    5) Since this was a non-pro Windows 8 machine, gpedit was not available. I spent 5 minutes looking for a registry solution, but decided not to bother since I was going to upgrade to Pro anyway.
    6) Upgraded to Pro
    7) Decided that I need to understand more about this. This IS NOT a Windows To Go system, and I need to know how else I might be affected.

    So questions...

-How do I tel Windows that it's not To Go?
    -What else would be affected?

Just gonna add that this keeps happening to my system (the registry key must get set by something I do). I noticed it today because I tried to install Windows 8.1 and I got the error that I could not install 8.1 to a usb drive.

When I installed my copy of windows 8 using a dvd, It installed a recovery partition during the installation. This partition allowed me to do things such as create a recovery drive, and use startup repair, all without needing to insert an installation disk. For some reason, this recovery partition...
Moved my Windows SSD from my MP 3.1 to my new MP 5.1. M$ just saved my bacon! Just got off the phone with M$ and re-activated my Windows 8 Pro x64 OEM product key. Very friendly and helpful guy on the phone so kudos for him!
Hello, My SSD (Intel 60GB) was becoming too small to hold my Windows 8 system partition so I found another use for that SSD and went back to HDD. I transfered whole SSD to HDD with Paragon Backup & Recovery 2013 free, and now the system gladly boots from HDD. But Windows 8 is somehow still...
...but it's not. Hi, I'm Antonio. About a month ago, while I was doing work, I tried to access Ubuntu from my jump drive to look at a certain application (don't remember what). Couldn't get the wifi working in Ubuntu (as had happened in the past), so I gave up. When I got back to Windows 8, the...
