1) Bought a new laptop with 500GB 5400RPM Drive + embedded 24GB fast boot.
2) Installed some apps from the store, used it for a day or two.
3) Cloned the original drive to an SSD
4) Went back to the store, got the message "Store not available on Windows To Go"

5) Since this was a non-pro Windows 8 machine, gpedit was not available. I spent 5 minutes looking for a registry solution, but decided not to bother since I was going to upgrade to Pro anyway.
6) Upgraded to Pro
7) Decided that I need to understand more about this. This IS NOT a Windows To Go system, and I need to know how else I might be affected.

So questions...

-How do I tel Windows that it's not To Go?
-What else would be affected?

Thanks!

Just gonna add that this keeps happening to my system (the registry key must get set by something I do). I noticed it today because I tried to install Windows 8.1 and I got the error that I could not install 8.1 to a usb drive.
