I currently have two drives in my laptop:
1. 128GB SSD in the Optical Drive space with a clean Win 8 installation.
2. 750GB HDD in the standard slot with a Win 7 installation.
Right now when I start up the computer, I get the option to run either Win 8 or Win 7.
I actually want to use the 750GB drive for something else, and thus want to remove it from the computer - which is easy enough. However, when I remove the 750GB drive suddenly the computer will not boot anymore. It gives me a "no bootable device" error.
How can I get my laptop to boot from the 128GB Win 8 install in the Optical Drive slot?
The computer is a HP Envy 14 Beats Edition 1260se.
Thank you
