may i ask if activation data/license will be written to the bios if updated from windows 7 to 8..i know that oem license will be hardcoded to the bios but what about old upgraded laptops?
i used the free media center key from microsoft and i'm afraid that i could never reuse it again in case a problem arises or my hard drive is reformatted
