Just a heads up: In case the installation is freezing and you encounter Windows 8 freezing issues I want to let you know that in my case it was due to the Wi-Fi card. I struggled for two days to install Windows 8. As soon as I have removed the Wi-Fi card from the PCI slot I could install and run Windows 8 properly. It looks like a Windows 8 bug as it should not freeze. Windows 7 worked rock solid with this card. In my case I think I'll try buying a new Wi-Fi card which is tested under Windows 8. Any suggestions for a Wi-Fi card which works in your system?
