Hello,
I recently bought a new notebook computer that came with windows 8. I would like to make a copy/backup of the windows 8 that was preinstalled, wipe the hard drive, and install a separate windows 7 license that I bought.
Simply put:
-Create a copy/backup of the preinstalled win 8
-Wipe the hard drive and install win 7
-At a later date restore the win 8 as if it came when I first bought the notebook
Will using the ‘Create Recovery Drive’(with copying the recovery partition to the recovery drive) option under Advanced Recovery tools allow me to make such a copy/backup that will restore win 8 just as it arrived when I bought the notebook or do I need to follow another process?
While I am asking, the process to restore that win 8 partition in the future, which tutorial is appropriate to follow?
Thanks in advance.
