Migrating Windows 8 to new PC.

I recently installed/purchase Windows 8 to my old computer. I'm looking to sell my old computer which has Windows 8, I'm planning to downgrading it to Windows 7 & since you can't have Windows 8 on more than 1 computer. I want to know if by uninstalling it from my old computer if it will be able to installed to my new computer and there will no problems like having to purchase Windows 8 again. Please let me know.

    Welcome to EightForums.

If your Windows 8 is a upgrade, you can not install to your new PC.

Not even if I uninstalled it from my older computer & later installing it to my computer? Note: the old computer won't no longer have Windows 8.

Your Windows 7 will need to go to new PC also. Leaving your old PC with NO OS.

In the next few weeks I plan to migrate from my Win8 HDD to an SSD. I know how to do that so that is not the question. I would like to know if I can keep the old HDD installed and boot to the SSD without confusing things. If I do that will having two Win8 installations offer any problems even...
Okay, so, I just recently built a new Windows 8 machine. Since I knew I was going to be getting an SSD down the road, I planned ahead: 14818 Nutshell, the C: drive, the boot drive, is at the end of the partition, sized to 220 DB, so I knew it would be smaller than the 240/256GB drive I knew...
