Windows 8 hanging during installation

before i begin am going to give you two slightly different board layouts and then give you the differences between the bootups

my primary computer is
amd dual core 4200+
3 gig of ram
250 gig hard drive
nvidia g force 8400gs

and a

intel dual core e250 (i think)
1 gig ram
256mb onboard chipset
160 gig hard drive

this is what i found....i installed windows 8 pro x64 bit on my intel machine twice once with the onboard graphics and with my nvidia graphics without an issue but when trying to install this on my amd its strange i get to the load screen before it hangs and does not go anywhere. the weird thing is that i can install the 32bit version of windows 8 on this machine without any issues but the 64 bit systems fail. after spending sometime on this issue am unsure on what to do as i have done fresh installs disconnected every bit of hardware that is not priority and still nothing. the question lies if its running the 32bit version does that leave the answer that there is a problem with my motherboard or is it an issue with windows 8 x64...other than pull my hair out is there any other solutions....like..possible intergration of my drivers so that windows 8 installs them while it installs the operating system...anyways thank you for your time

:)

WElcome to EightForums.

1) Try with only 2gb ram on the AMD.

2) Install x64 on the AMD 250 Hd in the Intel, when booting OK, return to the AMD.
