I know several people are having problem with installing Windows 8, but in my case, I formatted the hard drive and am trying a clean install. It still doesn't work.

The installation goes on fine, but it's stuck forever after the first auto reboot.

No external devices are connected to the computer. It's just the keyboard, mouse and monitor.

Here are all the specs on my machine

Cleaning the HD with diskpart as described in the first step, DID NOT solve it. Same problem. The installation goes fine, but after the first reboot, it's stuck forever. If I wait long enough (like whole night) I eventually get the "Recovery" screen with the message that the PC couldn't start properly.

Didn't find uEFI in BIOS

By the way, Windows 7 installs without any issues on the same computer
