@justmork, thanks, will try this tonight (at work now)
Just curious. Where would you be able to type a working Command under the circumstances you describe?

OK, through the comand box i could access the dvd drives withouth any problwems, however the windows8 dvd could not be read while any other cd or dvd could be read. So i went to my HDD that contained the windows 8 download iso file, copied it to a USB stick and transferred it to my laptop. On my laptop i reburned the iso to a new dvd and now this seems to work. as i type the refreshing of the PC is at 99% and the newly burned dvd seems to be working perfect.

So, nowe typing from a restored PC, lots of shortcuts are gone and some software have to be reinstalled and i still don't know what caused this crash but burning the DVD again and using it did the trick.
Million of thanks to all of you for thinking with me and trying to solve this.

I haven't installed anything lately and I can only think that it was maybe due to shutting down the computer directly from the power button (heard sudden shut downs could cause problems). I tried startup repair, I tried doing a "refresh" but it won't accept the cd, I tried doing a safe mode...
