I've read everything I could find on this forum and tried all the fixes w/o success. Here's the rundown:
I have a Win7 machine that runs fine. Created a second partition C: for dual-booting Win 8.1. After a clean install, I got the following error when trying to boot into 7:
Recently got a new computer, installed Windows 8.1 then later decided to install Windows 7 on an older hard drive.
Windows 8.1 boots fine.
Windows 7 boots fine if I choose the second hard drive as the boot device in the BIOS.
However booting Windows 7 from the Windows 8.1 boot manager...

Just a few minutes ago I was on windows 8 talking to a friend of mine on Skype when my pc froze. Since it was unresponsive I force shut it down and booted it back up. When it starts windows 8 it stays at a black screen for about 20 seconds and then tries to launch the windows 8 automatic repair....
