Solved Messed up my new laptop (partitions etc.)

The other day I decided to install a 128GB Samsung 830 SSD as the boot disk in my brand new Asus Vivobook S200 (which comes with Windows 8 on a 320GB HD.) I managed to clone the disk using Acronis True Image without any problems, but when I decided to use EaseUS partition master to grow my c: partition I must have messed up somehow. After rebooting Windows wouldn't start at all. I decided the best thing to do would be to do a fresh install on the SSD and start over. I formatted the SSD and then I made my biggest mistake: I also formatted the HD which contained all the orginal files for the laptop, including the restore partition. I had saved the boot.wim and install.wim files though and now I'm trying to figure out how to get it up and running again.

I have created a WinPE boot disk with the Windows 8 ADK (to which I also copied imagex.exe.) I can boot just fine with this and apply the install.wim to c: using imagex. But it won't boot after I've done this.

I'm guessing I also have to somehow create all the partitions that were on the original disk? Or do something else?

I would be very grateful if someone could help me out with this so that I don't have to send it back to Asus!

I didn't make them unfortunately. But I am writing this reply on my new laptop. I started over and switched from UEFI to BIOS and from GPT to MBR and was able to install then. Problem solved!
