    Purchasing multiple upgrade licenses

    Hi all,

I wonder if you could solve this query for me.

I'm planning on purchasing 15 licenses to upgrade all machines from XP to 8 Pro. However, the Microsoft provided upgrade assistant is only geared up for the purchase of one license at a time. Is there a way round this that doesn't involve tedium? Volume licensing doesn't help either, since it's much more costly in this case.

    Thanks!

This is for business use, so this may be illegitimate? The upgrade takes place over the next two weeks, so I'm a little pressed for time unfortunately.

You could pay for 15, one at time, than download once for 32 bit & once for 64 bit.Than make the ISO's.

    information   Information

If you need to download 32bit Windows 8, download from a 32bit PC.
If you need to download 64bit Windows 8, download from a 64bit PC.

As the MS tool for making the ISO's, does not work correcly.

That's the plan, I just wondered if there was a smoother way rather than completing 15 checkout procedures? I'm likely to get the card rejected after several purchases of the same amount from the same vendor, which will cause even more headaches.

Correct me if necessary, but I believe that one purchaser is permitted to buy a maximum of 5 licenses at the $40US promotional price.

How that is determined, I don't know; email address, maybe?

As you know, you can purchase additional Windows 8 Pro Upgrade keys (up to five--and today is the last day for the cheaper price) via the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant... you just burn an ISO rather than continuing with the install. But if you're not upgrading to Win8 on the computer that you used...
Hi, I upgraded to Win8 when it became available using the $39.99 upgrade option from MS. I understood people can buy up to 5 copies at that price. My father and sister asked me to upgrade their Win7 PCs. Neither would have much chance getting thru the process for the $39.99 upgrade. To...
