Is there anything worth saving in the C:\Windows backup file, or is it all just libraries and binaries? Are there any settings or configuration stored in the folder?
Hi everyone, I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 OS on my HP Pavilion p6330f desktop PC. Prior to installing the new Windows 8.1 tower, I copied and saved to DVD+R disks my documents, pictures, videos, etc. from Windows 7 OS. Then I tried to install them into my new Windows 8.1 OS...
I want to backup my windows 8.1 start screen app (only) with user configuration of those app.I want to do this,so that I can restore this app on my another computer running on windows 8.1.Please anyone can help me to how to do this.:(
How to Backup Windows 8.1 ?
I can not find the option to repair disc and system image .
when creating a backup image using acronis or other backup program, do i need to image the entire disk or just the windows partition and hidden (100 meg) partition ?
I just noticed, when I go to the Control Panel in Win8 Pro, it shows an item named Widows 7 File Recovery and no other back up item. That seems strange! Did I perhaps do something wrong when I installed Pro on my HP Envy h8-1414?
