    Hi guys,

I'm about to move from W7+W8 dual boot to W8 only, but I'm afraid my computer won't boot after I remove Disco 3(Disk 3) off my computer when I do that.
What happens is the boot record sits in my W7 disk(System Reserved), and when I remove that disk(will go to another computer) my computer won't boot anymore.
    Here's how it is now:

I'm pretty sure that will screw up booting since the disk where the boot record sits is gonna be removed.
Will using the W8 disk to repair the boot suffice?

    Thanks.

    Welcome to EightForums.

Physically disconnect the all Disks HD Drive.
Make the Windows 8 HDD, disk 0 & first HD boot in BIOS.Also connected to the first Sata port on the MOBO.
Than do a Auto Repair first,

How to do a Auto Repair:
Automatic Repair - Run in Windows 8
Note: You may need to do startup repair 3 to 4 times.

This happened about two days ago. By going in chronological order: I used to have a dual-boot setup, a Windows 7 and Windows 8 on two different IDE 80GB hard drives, named Drive A and Drive B, respectively. Both of these hard drives are quite old, and I'm worried that it may be near the end of...

Yeah so umm . . . my OS HDD died yesterday, and my other two drives are in a storage pool together (thus not bootable) after two days of trying to set up a dynamic partition in the pool using diskpart (which I'm now fairly confident can't be done XD) was wondering if there is a way to simply delete...
