Hi. I know this question is probably answered in the forums, but i can't seem to find it.
I have Windows 7 installed in my laptop. I'm buying a new SSD drive and want to do a clean install of the Win 8 upgrade on that drive when I get it. Do I need to install Windows 7 first on that drive or can i install it directly there?
What steps do i need to perform if i don't want to install win 7 first? I'm not planing on using dual boot or anything. Thank you all.

If you have an upgrade license, as far as I know you will have no alternative but to install 7 (or one of the other qualifying OSes) first. No work-arounds like for 7 have come to light yet.
