From upgrade to clean Windows 8

Hi!

I just ordered and installed the upgrade from W7 to W8. I am not satisfied about the outcome and two options inside W8 seem to solve my unsatisfactory. You have "Refresh without losing personal files" and "Delete everything and re-install Windows". This last option seems the most satisfying, but since I have ordered a W8-upgrade, does this option delete everything and then still re-install W8, or the Windows 7-OS I had when I bought this laptop a month ago?

The "Delete everything and re-install Windows" option is to completely reset Windows 8 to default as if you did a clean install of Windows 8 but faster.

You will still have Windows 8 installed afterwards and not the Windows 7 you upgraded from.

Hope this helps, :)

Put the installation of Windows 8 on a USB Flash Drive and I chose to "reset Windows 8". It did exactly what I wanted it to do. Works fine and great now. Love the new operating system!
