Hi there,
I think it is not needed new thread for this that I wrote it here...

I bought new upgrade license and they do not ask my win7 key. I will buy an ssd and want to install w8 there, just I want to keep my W7 installation for a kind of backup.

I do not wan to dual boot, I think I unplug my w7 hdd before installation w8 on ssd, then plug it again after installation, it will work. I just want to set first boot new sdd and if I want to boot w7 I'll choose w7 hdd on the quick boot screen.

Is there any problem working for w7 after w8 installation as I tried to explain it?

edit:
And Can I clean install w8 on the newbrand ssd with my upgrade license?

@Blick - when I did the upgrade thing, it didn't download as an ISO so I couldn't burn it to a disk, so what I did was install one of the preview versions first, then upgrade from that. Bit of a ball-ache but it works fine!

ALSO, download the upgrade files from your Windows 7 comp. Once they downloaded, go to C drive, tick 'show hidden items', there's a folder called GSP something or other, copy that folder cos it downloads into it, then save it to an external drive so you've got a backup.

You can make the ISO from exe.

You should have an upgrade file on your desktop, click on that, it asks some questions and one of them is do you want to install later say yes, then another question do you want to create an ISO file just say yes, when it has created the ISO file, right click on it to burn it to a DVD.
Then boot from that to completely wipe your disk and reformat, make sure you have your key for when you start the installation. If you have a Windows Live account use that. Make sure you feel comfortable doing this and have anything you need backed up, this worked for me, I hope it works for you.

If you need to redownload, go to your email from Windows Strore, download from the link.
