This is my first time on eitghtforums. I used to browse sevenforums all the time, but never posted.

I am trying to install Windows 8 Pro on two RAID 0 SSD's. My motherboard does not support RAID, so I bought a PCI-e controller card. The card does not have a BIOS/Utility (I thought it did when I bought it), so I used Disk Management in Windows 7 to stripe the drives for me. When I did that, it changed the disk type to Dynamic and I was unable to install Windows 8 on the partition.

Below is a list of hardware I'm using
  • OCZ Agility 3 120gb SSD (2)
  • MSI H61M-P23 Intel H61 Motherboard
  • SYBA IOCREST PCI-e SATA Controller Card SY-PEX40039

I'm a novice when it comes to stuff like this, so any help/advice at all would be greatly appreciated.
