Hi,

I just wanted to ask if it is possible to upgrade my Windows 7 with a clean installation of Windows 8 but yet keep every file/folder which was present on my Windows 7. If I can, which of the three options should I pick from the Windows 8 upgrade assistant?

Thank you

NO, as you will need to format the HD drive for a clean install.

Hello k4abbdin, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Sorry, but no. A clean install is just that, starting from fresh.

Instead you would want to upgrade using the Windows setting, personal file, and apps option.

Upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for $39.99
