Can't download windows 8 pro

Hi..

I purchase the upgrade to windows 8 pro for my windows 7 laptop...

but the issue while it trying to download windows 8 it's stuck at 0% complete and never download and doesn't show any message...



I've tried so many times without any success...

can u please help me for that..

I had the same problem with Windows 7. I had the Windows 8 release preview installed on another disk and used that and whammo, it started to download immediately, no idea why.

Try rebooting if you cant still get it, sometimes that helps, maybe there are just too many people downloading.

This problem is in UAE only due to Etisalat connection proxy.
you can use Hotspot shield to solve the problem

Do you have any 3rd party Anti-Virus or Firewall. Try to disable or unistall all of it even the Microsoft Windows Firewall.

Then right click the Icon of Windows 8>Properties>OpenFileLocation> in WebSetup Folder delete all the files> delete also the WebSetup Folder.

Then try to redownload the Windows 8 again.

Jasim, where do you live ?

do u have proper internate connection?if you see a yellow a mark over internet access icon in taskbar,then it may not work.because i tried when there was similar mark over internet access symbol.later i tried without any symbol over the icon. my download progresses.may be it help u.reply
