During Custom Installation Drive 0 cant be found

I've tried multiple times and followed multiple tutorials on how to install windows 8 to dual boot with 7. I get past the select Custom Install Screen but cant proceed from there.

The next screen is where you select which drive to install the OS on, however the installation is not detecting any drives (no drives on list at all). I have Win7 on my C drive and also a empty partition but the installer isnt registering either of them.

anybody have any ideas?

Try loading Sata drivers:
