Windows 8 without previous Windows software

Hello,

I seem to be a bit confused on how to proceed with buying windows 8 without a previous valid license of any windows product. I have always pirated my versions of windows as at the time were far too expensive for me. Now that I am able I would like to buy Windows 8 Pro but from that I can tell the ones I see for sale are for upgrade only.

I have absolutely no legitimate copy of windows so what version would I buy?

Thank you, so with this I can do a clean install of Windows 8? Also, this may be a stupid question but would this be a single license only? Would I be able to install this on 2 machines or would I need to buy one for each PC?

Yes, this is for a clean installation of Windows 8. And all copies of Windows, this one included is a single license copy only. You would need a second copy to use it on a second computer at the same time. However, if you install this on 1 computer today and 1 year from now, you build a new computer, you can deactivate it from the first machine and move it to the second version.
