Did a quick google search but came out empty, where can I find a legitimate (I'm a Dreamspark Premium member) Windows 8 Pro Image with the Cumulative Patch already included in the .iso?

Thanks!

What cumulative patch - did I miss something?

I haven't got win8 installed atm.

You can put the updates into your installation image easily enough - just pop the .msu files in with dism.

Win7 dism will do it fine.

There are currently no images which include all the updates that Microsoft has released. If you want one, you'll need to make it yourself:

slipstream ISO - Bing

I just did it.

Took about 10 mins to mount the image, integrate the updates, unmount the image and export it to compact it.

Installed just fine.

Thanks for all the replies you guys.

I've never slipstreamed anything in my life, could you please post a quick step-by-step guide on how to this with Windows 8?

Thanks again.

Yep.

Assuming you install in the average way using an .iso :

You need an iso handler - gburner is fully functional for 30 days: gBurner - A powerful CD, DVD and BD burning software

1. copy the iso to your HD.

2. pick it up with gburner and export the install.wim ( it is in the folder called sources ) to your HD .

3. mount the install.wim (select the right image - I think it is image 1 )with dism.

4. Integrate the .msu files with dism.

5. Unmount and commit the image with dism

6. Pick up the .iso with gburner again and add in the new install.wim to the sources folder. Save the .iso

Image Management Command-Line Options

If you can't be bothered with the commands, just use Eldi's program - this version only works from within win8

Actual Version: 3.1

Does Windows 8 have dism by default, or does it need the AIK?

Windows 8 have DISM built in.
It was also included in the install disk.
