Hi!
I have a problem with my notebook. It's an Acer Aspire 7530.
Windows 8 Consumer Preview ran without any problems; the drivers needed (especially for the graphics card) were downloaded automatically.
Now I installed Windows 8 Release Preview, but Windows Update does not install the graphics card driver, thus it runs really slowly and is unusable :/ Installing the drivers manually won't do a thing (even if the installer exits without problems). Even re-installing the whole OS (means formatting the partition and perform a clean install) didn't work.
Maybe some of you can help me!
The graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce 9600 M GS.
One more information: It says, the driver used for the screen is the standard "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter", although the driver for the graphics card is installed.
Thank you very much in advance!
