Hello,

I bought a new pc but moved my psu and video card to it since mine were better. When I installed the video card I couldn't get a picture. I'm wondering if I need to uninstall the current video card before another one will be recognized???

Yes. You need to uninstall the driver for the old video card and then install the correct driver for the new card. Once you uninstall the old driver, Windows should automatically install a generic driver that probably won't use your new card to it's full ability which is why you'll want to install the correct driver.

Retired in 2015 after working in the tech industry for 41 years. First 10 years as a Technician, the rest as a programmer/software engineer. After 1 year of retirement, I was bored so went back to work as a Robotic Process Automation Consultant. Retired for 3rd (and final) time in 2019.
Thank you very much!!
