Intel HD 4400 Custom Resolution Input Not Supported.

    Hello my friends,

I have a Acer Monitor which can support 1366x768... I'm trying to increase my screen resolution to 1600x1200 60Hz but its not allowing me even though Intel HD adds it on...

What can I do or what screen resolutions can support my monitor.

You can't physically go beyond the maximum resolution of the display.

That monitor is the bare minimum required to run Windows 8.

What you can do is either use the monitor with it's very unpleasant resolution, or purchase a better monitor, capable of a higher resolution.

Yes, you somewhat answered your own question. As in any chain, the weakest link is the limit. So, if you think of the monitor, graphics card, etc all as a chain, the lowest max supported resolution is your limit, in this case, your monitor.

I remember with CRT monitors that you can do it, but not with LCD

What can be done with USB Cable regarding PC? Is it worth it? I use a Dual monitor cabe, one end plugs into The Display shared Vga Connection. The other 2 allow me to have up to a total of 3 Displays. Is there products that allow more than the standard 2 outputs? Example 4? Thank you
I am running Windows 8.1 64 with an Intel HD 4000 graphics card (although I also have a Geforce GT 730M, it uses optimus so which card is used depends on the demands of the program). I thought I was running a resolution of 1280x1024 @ 122Hz, but it was actually upscaled to 1280x1024 at 85Hz on...
