Because if worked with windows 8 try figure why not with windows 8.1 as needs for chipset drivers be same unless possibly was Win 7.
    It was from an upgrade and I had Windows 8 before.

    @Derekimo - Okay, I'll run that tool in just a sec.

    EDIT - Okay, done, what should I paste here?

    Try this method next time, option two is for files,

    Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Eight Forums

    That's not the same motherboard listed on HP that you have in your computer, you have this board,

    TA890GXB HD :: Motherboard :: BIOSTAR

    Which has ATI integrated graphics,

    Code:
    INTEGRATED VIDEO	ATI Radeon™ HD4290 Graphics , Max. Memory Share Up to 512 MB
    Support ATI Hybrid Crossfire
    You need the chipset driver on the download tab,

    TA890GXB HD :: Motherboard :: BIOSTAR

    It doesn't list one for windows 8 but that's all you have to work with.

    So all this Nvidia thought was for naught, at some point this Mobo was changed.

    If you do have trouble installing the chipset, try compatibility mode,

    Under option two,

    Compatibility Mode - Use in Windows 8

    Okay, I got it Derekimo and it installed just fine without any errors. So from here should I restart my PC to see any changes?

    Thanks for helping!

    Great. Yeah, restart and see if your display adapter gets recognized.

    It should help discover any other devices that may not be present as well.

    Unfortunately it's not able to detect any other devices.

    No idea why it's doing this

    Hmm, not what I was hoping for. Have you installed all the updates for windows?

    Can you run that tool again and upload the zip, I just want to see if there are any changes.
