I just installed Windows RP on my Asus 1015 PX Netbook. I have heard of programs for Windows 7 that allow you to raise the resolution to 1152x864, but I have been unable to find one for Windows 8. I was wondering if there was a way to raise the screen resolution in the registry.

Search in registry for:
Display1_DownScalingSupported
and change value from 0 to 1

I have tried that already. It only adds the resolution 1024x768. If it helps, I am running a pretty clean Windows Release Preview 64 bit.

Raising the resolution above the supported level will just make the screen scrollable to each direction, and not actually improve image quality at all. Any special reason you are trying to do this?
