Hi

1. I'm trying to duplicate a higher resolution display into a lower resolution display.
2. It's a 4K display that I want to be projected into an 1080p resolution display, without any of them changing their resolution

Can it be done? I know the other way around is possible (lower->higher), but I want higher->lower.

Please advise

I don't think its possible. By default Windows uses the lowest resolution of the two. This is done so you can get an image on both screens. Most monitors will accept a lower resolution than their native resolution but not a higher one. Try to put too high a resolution on the screen and it will just blank out or be totally un viewable.
